15 year old Canadian single malt whisky here from Glenora Distillers, released as part of their Glen Breton series. The subtitle "Battle of the Glen" is a reference to the SWA trying to stop the distillers from using the word 'Glen' in their name, though it was eventually dismissed 7 years after the litigation started. In celebration, Glenora released this very whisky.
Nose: Honey'd barley, apple slices and a whisper of wood-y embers.
Palate: More vanilla-led barley and fresh orchard fruits. Touches of warming peat.
Finish: Continued peat and a lasting smokiness.
